Do you have Caregiver Burnout?

Good afternoon and welcome to my blog.  I trust you have had a wonderful day so far, and that you have had someone give you the opportunity to have a little "me" time today.
Today we are talking about Caregiver Burnout.
Could this picture be of you?

Emotionally and physically exhausted, sleep deprived, frustrated, impatient, resentful, worried, sad, overworked, under or unpaid, guilty, depressed, ready to blow at any minute, and all of the other adjectives that describe what you are feeling at this moment?  This could very likely be all of us after a period of non-stop tending to our loved one with no relief in sight.  Sometimes we don't even have the strength or interest in doing for ourselves the very things that we are doing for the person for which we are caring.
With being a caregiver comes household disruption, inadequate support from other family members, and often, financial concerns.  The symptoms of burnout can make caring for another person, even one that you love dearly, an unhealthy experience. What can we do to prevent caregiver burnout?
Looking for positive suggestions that will help caregivers stay healthy and happy during their experience so that they can perform their duties with pride and honor to their loved ones.
"One person caring about another represents life's greatest value."

Have a blessed day and we'll chat soon.
